The Scots are sociable and friendly and with only about 5 million of them there is plenty of space. Combine all this with great international links, Glasgow and Edinburgh airports are within an hours drive of our base in Stirling and London Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted are all within an hours flight, there is a remote, peaceful environment, ideal for a motorcycle vacation, and you never realised it.

You may have family roots you want to research and to help you we have a genealogical expert who can examine your family background then we can plan tours to include places in your historic past from the Lowlands to the Highlands.

 

 

 

 

Note: Our objective is to ensure you have a pleasurable, trouble free motorcycle vacation secure in the knowledge that should anything happen we have everything under control. One of the benefits of having two tour guides is that  there are not many situations they will come across that they haven't seen before and in the unlikely event they don't know what to do they know where to go for the answers.

Hot Scot provides a complete touring package from getting you from an airport or train station, meeting you at a pre-determined location or simply providing you with directions and Sat Nav co-ordinates to get you here safely. We'll organise your motorcycle for you if you need one then we'll show you round one of the most beautiful countries in the world. We also provide some unique services and facilities to ensure your safety and enjoyment.

 

Guides or Sat-Nav?

There is really no comparison. Satellite navigation has it's place until the weather deteriorates and then even the best can't get a signal and your stuck on a road in the middle of the highlands with nasty weather closing in. Not very comfortable at all.

In ideal conditions they are useful, the ability to find, say, a hotel is a handy feature however when your on tour with HotScot that's all taken care of. Their ability to plot Points Of Interest is also useful, except that they are other peoples idea of interesting and are usually well ON the beaten track. Nor will they know where the best places are to get an inexpensive, tasty meal with beautiful views and great company, try inputting "good friends" into your Sat-Nav and see where it takes you; probably Scotland!
